This fleur de sel is harvested in the Atlas Mountains surrounding Marrakech, Morocco. The underground water there is naturally pure, saline and very rich in natural minerals.
The salt harvesters dig wells to draw water for the salt pans nestled among these mountains. This unique setting, exceptionally exposed to sun and wind, gives the fleur de sel its distinctive taste, both briny and mineral. A distinctive union of land and sea.
Its “Majorelle blue” pot was inspired by the “ball cactus” and the famous “Majorelle Blue” of the Jardin de Majorelle in Marrakech.
“This fleur de sel pairs particularly well with meat.”
