Terms and conditions of sale
1 - Preamble
The online shop is an e-commerce website accessible via the internet and operated by LES TERRES BLANCHES UNIPESSOAL LDA, a company registered with the Lisbon Commercial Registry under number 2018064904, whose registered office is at Avenida Eng. Duarte Pacheco Amoreiras Torre 2-16 A, 1070-102 Lisbon, Portugal.
The purchase of Products offered on the website is subject to all of these terms and conditions of sale (“Terms and Conditions”), without exception or reservation. LES TERRES BLANCHES reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions of sale at any time without prior notice. Where applicable, notice of any amendment will be posted on the Website.
2 - Definitions
The following definitions apply in these terms and conditions of sale, with the meanings set out below, whether the terms are used in the singular or plural.
- “Terms and Conditions of Sale”: means this document, setting out the terms and conditions governing the relationship between LES TERRES BLANCHES and the Customer.
- “Order”: means the Customer’s purchase order for one or more Products placed through the Website.
- “Product”: means a product offered for sale on the Website
- “Customer”: means an individual or legal entity, whether a consumer and/or a business, who uses the Website and purchases one or more Products for their own needs through the Website, having first accepted the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
- “Recipient” means the individual designated by the Customer to receive the order.
3 - Entire agreement
These terms set out all the obligations of the parties. Accordingly, the Customer accepts all their provisions in advance and without reservation. If the Customer does not agree to the Terms and Conditions of Sale, they must not use the Website.
No general or specific terms contained in documents sent or provided by the Customer shall form part of these terms where those documents are incompatible with them.
LES TERRES BLANCHES reserves the right to adapt or amend these Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time without prior notice. Any such adaptations or amendments shall apply to orders placed thereafter.
If these Terms and Conditions of Sale are amended, those applicable to the Customer’s order shall be the version published online and accepted by the Customer on the date the Order was placed.
4 - Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are intended to define:
- The contractual relationship between LES TERRES BLANCHES and the Customer
- The terms applicable to any purchase of products made on the Website www.les-terres-blanches.fr, whether the Customer is a French or foreign national, or a business or consumer.
Any use of the Website or placement of an Order for one or more Products through the Website constitutes unconditional acceptance of all the Terms and Conditions of Sale. Only persons legally capable of entering into contracts for the Products offered for sale on the Website may place an Order. When placing an order, the Customer warrants that they have full legal capacity to accept the Terms and Conditions of Sale, place an Order and enter into a sale contract.
5 - Duration
These terms apply throughout the period during which the products and services offered by LES TERRES BLANCHES, holder of the domain name www.les-terres-blanches.fr, are available online.
6 - Acceptance of and objections to the terms and conditions of sale
6.1. Availability of the terms and conditions of sale
Anyone visiting the Website may read the terms and conditions of sale at www.les-terres-blanches.fr by clicking the link at the bottom of each page. As the terms and conditions of sale may be amended, the applicable version is the one in force on the Website when the order is placed.
6.2. Customer’s legal capacity
For the purposes of these terms and conditions of sale, a Customer is any legal entity or individual who is at least 18 years old or has the authorisation of an authorised person when confirming their order. The Customer is a consumer or business based in France or abroad. By paying for their order, the Customer acknowledges that they have full legal capacity to enter into obligations under these terms and conditions of sale.
6.3. Acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale
The Customer acknowledges having read the terms and conditions of sale and expressly accepts them upon confirming their order on the Website. For orders not placed online through the Website (by email, telephone, etc.), the Customer acknowledges having read and expressly accepts the terms and conditions of sale upon receiving their order confirmation email and not contesting it. By accepting the terms and conditions of sale, the Customer accepts all their provisions without reservation, to the exclusion of all others. The applicable terms and conditions of sale are those in force on the Website when the Customer confirms the order. They remain valid for the period necessary to supply the goods and services purchased, until their warranties expire.
7 - Product characteristics and prices
7.1. Reviewing the characteristics of products and services
LES TERRES BLANCHES displays its products and services on its Website, together with detailed descriptions enabling the Customer to understand their essential characteristics before placing a final order.
7.2. Product availability and offer validity
The offers for products and services, and the prices displayed on the Website, are valid for the current day. A product that becomes unavailable is marked “Temporarily unavailable”.
7.3. Prices
The prices of products and services displayed on the Website are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes. They apply when the Customer confirms the order and exclude a contribution towards shipping costs, which is charged separately and shown on the basket’s “Summary” page before final order confirmation. Prices inclusive of all taxes include value added tax (VAT) for products delivered within the European Union. Items subject to VAT are charged at the Portuguese VAT rate. Any change to the statutory Portuguese VAT rates will be reflected in the prices of products and services displayed on the Website from the date specified in the relevant implementing decree.
8 - Payment
All prices shown include tax. The total order amount comprises the price of the items and delivery charges. You may pay by VISA, MASTERCARD or PayPal. If payment is declined by the authorisation centre, we will be unable to dispatch the order.
9 - Order confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email as soon as we receive your order. Please include the references from this email in any correspondence. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact: sales@les-terres-blanches.fr
10 - Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L121-20 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has fourteen (14) full days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason or pay a penalty, except for return shipping costs where applicable.
The fourteen (14)-day period begins upon receipt of the products. If it expires on a Saturday, Sunday, public holiday or non-working day, it is extended until the next working day. LES TERRES BLANCHES recommends that Customers wishing to exercise their right of withdrawal inform Customer Service by email at sales@les-terres-blanches.fr

11 - Delivery
11.1 Delivery charges
Delivery charges for our online shop are based on product size and weight, in accordance with the current rates of the postal service and our carriers.
DELIVERY IN FRANCE:
€8.50, free on orders of €50 or more.
DELIVERY IN EUROPE:
€11.50, free on orders of €60 or more.
For orders over 10kg, please email sales@les-terres-blanches.fr with the details of your order and the delivery address so that we can provide a quotation including delivery charges.
11.2 Delivery times
Orders are prepared within 1 to 3 days of order confirmation, subject to product availability. If one or more items are no longer available and this is not indicated on the product page, the Customer will be notified by email or telephone, and LES TERRES BLANCHES will offer the Customer either a refund or the option to wait until the product is back in stock. Average delivery times for France and Europe are 3 to 6 working days. Delivery times are stated as accurately as possible in working days, but depend on supply and transport availability. If the product has not been delivered 30 days after the estimated delivery date, the Customer may request cancellation of the sale and a refund of any sums already paid, excluding any compensation or damages (see Article L 121-20-3 of the French Consumer Code).
11.3 Dispatch
Orders placed on the LES TERRES BLANCHES online shop can only be shipped to the destinations offered. For shipping enquiries outside Europe, please contact sales@les-terres-blanches.fr
12 - Conditions for returning products
The Customer has a statutory period of fourteen (14) days from receipt of their order to notify LES TERRES BLANCHES of their intention to return a product and the reason for the return. Products must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging, with any accessories and documentation, in perfect condition for resale, and with the relevant order number indicated. The product must be returned in packaging suitable for that purpose. Any product that is damaged, opened, incomplete or missing, or whose original packaging has been damaged, will not be refunded or exchanged. Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

13 - Refunds
If the right of withdrawal is exercised, LES TERRES BLANCHES must refund the sums paid by the Customer, without penalty, excluding shipping costs. The refund must be made without delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after receipt of the returned products. If the purchased product or products are returned due to an error by LES TERRES BLANCHES, the Customer’s return shipping costs will also be refunded in full.

15 - Applicable law
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer may submit a complaint to LES TERRES BLANCHES Customer Service by email at sales@les-terres-blanches.fr to seek an amicable resolution. If the Parties cannot reach an amicable agreement, the dispute shall be submitted to the Portuguese courts, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
